Are you thinking of taking a vacation in the near future? How do you normally go? Do you fly there and then sort yourself out or do you take vacation packages? It is clear that vacation packages are simpler and usually cheaper too. If you go DIY, you will need to book reservations on an airplane or a bus and a hotel and taxis and a car hire company. If you would rather avoid all this, you could book either a vacation package of one of the all inclusive vacation packages. Although many vacation packages are extremely good, some people decline to use them. This can be for several reasons, but the most common are out of a of feelings of adventure, independence and snobbishness. In fact, most of the people who do not take vacation packages are younger, single people. Married people with children are the main users of vacation packages and especially all inclusive vacation packages. There is a difference between the two kinds. All inclusive vacation packages are great for families with hungry children. You know, the normal variety, who are always saying: ‘Give me a dollar for an ice cream, Dad’ or ‘I’m hungry, Mum!’. On an all inclusive vacation package, all of these munchies and three main meals a day and all drinks are incorporated in the cost of the holiday – hence, the name, all inclusive vacation package. However, there is more to it than that. All inclusives also incorporate on site games and amusements and some others as well. For instance, a Caribbean all inclusive vacation package might include the use of snorkels and goggles, but it would rarely stretch to the use of aqualungs or wet suits. Another advantage of the all inclusive holiday resort is that they often cater for families with young children. They might provide child alarms in the chalets and free entertainment for adult holiday makers in the evening and night too. The resort might also provide baby sitters and a free taxi into town. All inclusive vacation packages are a very different deal from standard vacation or rental packages. All inclusives are more geared towards families with young children between, say five and fifteen, because children of this age eat a lot, although it is usually junk food, which usually costs a lot on holiday, but is in fact, cheap to make. The evenings’ entertainment is also on site so that parents can be easily reached if there is a problem. On the other hand a standard vacation package will usually provide breakfast only, so that you can go out for the day and do what you like. Many drivers, in order to get more done in their day, have taken to multitasking during their daily commute. This is a not a good idea because it could lead to dangerous driving and speeding tickets or even worse. Deadly car crashes have been the result of people trying to do too much while in their vehicle and not paying attention to driving and the other cars around them. Distracted drivers are becoming the number one cause of car accidents around the world. The roadway in front of them is what the driver behind the wheel is what they should be concentrating on and not people talking, a cell phone conversation or other thoughts that might creep into their mind. Some people have converted their vehicles into rolling offices and take phone calls, perform text messages and do a number of things all while trying to drive at the same time. This is very dangerous and just does not work. People can only give their full attention to one thing at a time. Texting and driving has been proven over and over again to cause cars to swerve into another lane and people to accelerate at high rates of speed without realizing it. This is a very dangerous driving practice. Driving along requires a lot of one’s attention, but ad talking on a cell phone and this is dividing a person’s attention. A driver also needs to concentrate on what is being said to them during their phone conversation and this could cause one to speed up during a trip down the highway. Drivers who are distracted is the number one accident cause in this and many other countries, passing up the other number one driving impairment, drunk driving. Even is an individual is alone with their thoughts in the car, this, too, could be a major distraction. Eating and drinking, a snack, lunch or any of the other meals, used to be a top distractor, right up there with drunk driving. However, with the invention of cell phones, they have taken over as the number one killer of drivers while distracted and trying to navigate the roadways. Taking ones eyes off the roadway while trying to eat or drink a snack or gobble down their lunch could have dire consequences. If something were to fall on ones shirt, they would immediately, and sometimes automatically, look away from the road. Newer van’s and some of the larger automobiles are now equipped with DVD players for the entertainment of the passengers. This could become a major distraction for a driver, even if they can not see the movie or television program. A driver could get caught up in listening to what is playing on the screen and unfortunately, might become another statistic of one of the millions of accidents from a distracted driver along the roadway each year. One of the better ideas for an onboard entertainment center is to have the personal earphone so the driver is not able to hear the television program or movie yet the passengers are. Rain, sleet, fog and snow are all conditions of the roadway that need to be addresses by a driver and the main concern is to slow down. Unfortunately, many drivers do not think about the weather when they are trying to get somewhere, they simply keep going and don’t adjust their speed or driving skills. A driver will be pulled over if they are speeding, even a little, in bad weather, for most accidents happen in inclement weather. Playing at speed racer or driving above the posted speed limit only to get where they need to be faster is a dangerous ‘game’ many driver’s take on every day. Over and over again, research has shown that a driver is only taking a couple of seconds off their commute when they are speeding from one place to another. They are in greater danger when they ignore traffic signs and signals just to get to where they are going on time. Speed limit signs are designed to help people get to where they are going in a timely manor. Saving a life, maybe one’s own or that of the family the driver has with them, is as simple as driving the speed limit and taking the precautions needed to stay alert and focused. Put the cell phone down and try to keep as many interior distractions to a bare minimum in order to avoid dangerous driving, speeding tickets and need for a criminal lawyer Toronto.
